DONATE to Help Bennett Barbour Vote on Tuesday!

The Virginia Innocence Project Student Group needs to raise $1,075.07 by November 5th (Monday Morning) to help Bennet Barbour, 58, a VIPS client recently exonerated of a 1978 rape, vote for the first time in Tuesday's Election.

Barbour, suffering from terminal bone cancer, registered to vote after being exonerated, excited to cast his first and mostly likely only vote in this year's election. However, he is prevented from doing so because of old court debts incurred for unrelated offenses.

Since the county has not waived these fees, VIPS is asking for your donations to get Barbour to the polls on Tuesday!

Any and all donations accepted from $1 to $1,075.07. All donations in excess of $1,075.07 will be given to Mr. Barbour, who is indigent.
